Unveiling the Secrets of Detecting Fraudulent Documents

I'm going to let you in on a secret.

The trick to detecting fraudulent documents is not about finding the smoking gun, that one glaring mistake that the fraudster made. It's about finding the pattern of small incongruities  that together reveal the culprit's vile deed.

Sure, maybe a few years ago, you could look at a document and know it's fraudulent based on a visual tell or mathematical inconsistency. But today's fraudsters use sophisticated yet commonly available software to generate picture-perfect pay stubs, bank statements, and other life-defining documents.

And the incentive for doing this is tremendous.  With an inflated income, fake identity, or other misrepresentations, the fraudster can live large on your dime.

But at Docuverus we know their tricks and we can find the fraudsters that no one else can. How, you may ask?

We act as your digital detective. We understand the details like no one else. Like the gumshoe detective who knows his city better than anyone else, we know documents. We know who makes them. We know how they make them. And we know when someone tries to slip one past you. We know this because we know all the pieces and how they should fit together. We also know when things don't quite fit.

We don't just rely on artificial intelligence to guess whether something is real or fake.  We don't just rely on simple OCR or basic math tricks. Of course we do all of the above. But we do more. (We do have a few secrets!) In fact, we don't use just one technology or technique. We perform a multi-step, multi-dimensional analysis of every document. Every single one.

And because the fraudsters are constantly learning, evolving, and maturing their tricks, we have a special team dedicated to beating them at their own game. Every single day, our Document Fraud Analysts review all documents that is submitted to our system, looking for new trends in the fraudsters' game, feeding their discoveries into our multi-dimensional analysis engine, and ensuring that our findings are the most accurate possible. After all, there's a lot riding on this.

You can probably tell I'm pretty passionate about this. We all are, from our CEO on down, from our dedicated development team, to our always cheerful support team, and everyone else. Across the board, we do the work. Us. We don't outsource to anyone else to do our work. We are the experts.

Want to see how we can help you? Challenge us! Send us your documents and see how our expertise can work for you.
